To Register for the DanceSport Competition:
More information is available on line through the MSO site, which is www.michiganseniorolympics.org. Here are the pages you'll need to register for the DanceSport comptition and the links to access them:
1. MSO Membership & Registration forms
2. Liability Waiver
3. DanceSport Registration Form (use as many copies as necessary for each unique partnership)
There was some confustion on the entry package. The DanceSport entry form in the package had incorrect pricing for entering the Competition (too high). The correct entry fees are $25 to be a member of the Michigan Senior Olympics and $25 to compete in the DanceSport Competition. If you joined the Michigan Senior Olympics for the 2009 Winter Games you do not have to join again for the Summer Games. If you are competing in other sports at the Summer Games you may pay the $35 entry fee that covers medal sports and one Ribbon Event instead of paying the $25 fee to compete in the DanceSport Competition.
Your entry in the DanceSport Competition entitles you to entry to the ballroom but does not include assigned seating. Your ribbon entry fee allows you to enter as many dances as you desire.
