MSO 2008 DANCESPORT COMPETITION JUDGES

Judging of the competition will be done by three local Professionals. Each of which has a specialty of Ballroom, Country Western or Swing / Hustle.

Glenn Clark - Chairman of Judges has been a top coach and competitor for more than 20 years. Owner of Stardust Ballroom, Glenn is certified in all four styles (American smooth and rhythm & International standard and Latin- a total of 24 dance styles) with instruction based on the school syllabi.Glenn Clark - Chairman of Judges. In addition to his professional competitor experience, Glenn has been ranked consistently as one of the top pro-am instructors in the U.S., competing in all four styles. He competes across the U.S. with his students, winning many top awards and championships.

Candace McKenzie has been teaching and coaching both amateur and professional couples for over 20 years. She has been a franchisee with Arthur Murray Dance Studio since 1982 and a Certified National Adjudicator since 1980. She has operated her present dance studio in Royal Oak since 1986. She also has been the master choreographer for the Empire Follies Stage Productions and the Michigan Judge for the Dance show "Dance Fever" for nine years in the 80's.Candace McKenzie has been teaching and coaching both amateur and professional couples for over 20 years. Suzy Brecht Dancer, Dance Instructor, Event Coordinator. Suzy has been teaching Ballroom and Latin style dances since 1988. Suzy is certified in both the American style and International style dances. Suzy held the title of Director of Ballroom dance in Ontario, Canada. From 2001 - January 2007 she managed the largest ballroom studio in Michigan. In addition, as she is a theatre buff, Suzy has taught at Wayne State University in the theatre and Stage department. In her dancing career, Suzy has won many top teacher awards throughout the United States and Canada.
